How we started selling candles

Vicki stopped on vacation to look at Swan Creek candles. Bill bought them — if she stops, he buys it. Always. The price got him thinking. He went home and looked it up online, one finger at a time. Months later a box of wax, wicks, and jars showed up at the auto shop we have run since 2012. He started making candles in a garage. We thought it was ridiculous. He sold them anyway.

Years later he found Swan Creek headquarters, signed up as a reseller on the spot, and packed a Mustang with a couple thousand dollars of inventory. If they did not sell, Vicki still got the candles. They sold. This shop is what came next.
